At least I assume it was his doing that this image detonated all over the web.  First he hits us with Moonwalking, leg humping Ewoks and now TWO metal bikini’d Leias  (Carrie Fischer and her stunt double) all laying out, I can only assume Mr. Lucas’ is instituting hi s grand “Coca Cola Classic” style Star Wars revival to try and whipe out Ep. I, II, and III and bring us back to those warm fuzzy (in our pants) days when Star Wars was pretty fucking cool. Either that or he had no choice but to bury this pic for 27 years, leting the princess leia metal bikini ferver subside just enough so that releasing it didn’t have a hugely negative impact on the american male nerd population.  Cause I could see this doing some damage.

Man this cuts The Malden both ways as it effects both our legacy of wrestling watching and love of all things Mario related. Captain Lou Albano passed away today at the age of 76. Man I hadn’t seen him for years but in reading it looks like he had a heart attack a few years back and was in decline so i’m glad he’s moved on to the squared circle in the sky. To be honest I don’t even really remember seeing Captain Lou wrestle. I think I mostly saw him doing manager type roles, or playing Cyndi Laupers dad in most of her videos. And of course the likeable, but not all that accurate Mario from the endcap segments from the Super Mario Super Show. which of course leads to….

The Mario. In a life made up of music videos and wrasslin’ you could be immortally know for far worse. See ya round captain.
