What is this “Malden”?

I am a rundown apartment building in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle run by a slum lord. A few years ago some “adults” moved in to my basement level apartment and they just won’t let go of what appeared to me to be a very sad and pathetic time in their lives. Perhaps they found the disgusting conditions they lived in a unifying experience. Frankly I wish they would move on and leave me out of it…
